Title precedence & what's to come

Currently researching for a Timeline, and a list of Precendence (basically the order of importance/political clout). Caught up with research on Queen Elizabeth Woodville (my understudy role), and Mistress Elizabeth "Jane" Shore (my role), now busy marking up my script with beats, motivations, & scansion. Blocking Act 4, Scene 4 tomorrow, so the above research will have to wait for now.

For now, here is a list of the peerage title in descending order of importance (precedence):
Duke
Marquess
Earl
Viscount
Baron

Eldest sons are referred to by their father's next highest unused title. (For example, John Howard, Duke of Norfolk, is also the Earl of Surrey, but since Dukedoms are higher than Earldoms, is referred to by the Duke title, and his son Thomas Howard goes by the title of Earl of Surrey.)
